Presales Engineer (USA)

Responsibilities

The Presales Engineer is a key technical contributor accompanying accounts closely from the early pre-sales stage to post-sale.

Working closely with the sales team on proposals as well as working with customers — from capturing and understanding their requirements to designing and delivering a complete solution — the Presales Engineer is instrumental to everything we do.

Requirements

  • 5 years of hands–on experience as a Solution/Field/Sales Engineer including enterprise software installations
  • Demonstrated experience in Cybersecurity enterprise solutions and IP networks and router configurations
  • Hands on experience installing, configuring and demoing Cybersecurity solutions
  • Experienced with architecture and implementation of enterprise networks
  • Deep knowledge and hands on experience in Networking – primarily layer 2, 3 & 4
  • HO experience with setup and administration of Linux systems and virtual environments (e.g. VMware ESX)
  • Experience of working in a startup - an advantage
  • Ability to interact with customers to identify requirements and implementation the solution to meet their requirements
  • Ability to technically troubleshoot enterprise networks to isolate a problem and resolve it
  • Team player with good communication skills, positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn
  • Education: BS in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
  • MCSE and CCNA certifications a plus
  • North American Location flexible, East Coast preferred
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% within North America
